Who is Your Inspiration? Who do you inpsire?

On The Importance of Mentors "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." - Philippians 4 Paul

encouraged others to focus on the true, noble, lovely and excellent while he sat chained up in prison. He knew, what has always been true, we all need people who show us how to live well. People who put into practice what God calls us to do, so we can see what God's life for us looks like. Paul had experienced peace in prison and he wanted all his friends to have what he had. I am inspired by my friend who loss her young adult daughter recently - she shows me how to trust God in the midst of heartache. I am inspired by my brother Dave who, in spite of lots of very difficult circumstances continues to call others to trust God and peace positive. I am inspired by friend who literally met God in prison, and prior to meeting God was a monster (his words) to humanity, but now cleans the toilets of neighbors and seeks to love others. Inspiration comes from a Latin word, inspirare, which means to breathe upon or into. People can be a breath of encouragement and life. Are you inspired? Does your life inspire others?
