Prayerful - Our interaction with God
Compassionate - Our interaction with people
Humlbe - Our approach to God and people
Are you a PCH Disciple? Prayer is not simply a WAY to interact with God it IS our interaction with God. Study, service, quiet, being in nature, times of request and thanksgiving, complaint represent ways to interact with God and are forms of prayer. PCH Disicples seek to experience God's Spirit in all we do. We practice prayer as a way of life as well as specific times of interaction with God. Compassion sees the deep need in humanity. Desiring the best for all people, the compassionate person offers mercy and at times experiences a gut level feeling of love and concern for those in need. PCH Disciples seek to show compassion in their relationships. Whether we are caring for family members, interacting with co-workers, hanging out with friends or meeting a stranger, we respond to the world with love. Humility causes us to not see ourselves as more important than others. Humble people are aware of their own sinfulness and their own failings. Humility frees us to approach God with a desire to know Him and to approach others with a desire to learn. PCH Disciples are committed to listening, learning and serving. PCH Disciples understand that when we humble ourselves, then God will lift us up to live a life of freedom, power and impact.
